JOE HOW YOU DOING THANKS MADDOG

Hey Y'all!

Joe Clem from Skydog Music here....We're located in Laurens, South Carolina but work with bands/artists from all over the US.

First, a little History:

My wife, Sherri, and I started Skydog Music back in 2000. We both grew up here in Upstate South Carolina...home of The Marshall Tucker Band. We started as "music fans", but it soon evolved into managing a local band called Total Recall. TR was an Old School R&B/Soul band and gave us quite a run through the black soul clubs...learning all the while...we saw a bunch of really good, young bands who wanted to get out there playing, but who just didn't have a clue to what all was involved. We had learned a lot with Total Recall, but Southern Rock and Outlaw Country was where the fire burned for the Skydog Music crew...This time we hooked up with "The Bad Boys From Eastern Kentucky", The South of Heaven Band. We played just about every biker bar, beer tavern and general throwdown in the South East for the next 5 years!

At the same time, through an association with a concert production company in Florida, Skydog Music was able to move into producing concerts by Molly Hatchet, Brian Howe (Bad Company), David Allan Coe, the Southern Rock AllStars, The Bushhounds and several other bands. This led to lasting friendships with both struggling bands and folks who have many, many gold records on the wall.

In 2007, Skydog Music was proud to work on the Jam For George McCorkle concert. Held in Spartanburg, SC to honor the late George McCorkle (Marshall Tucker Band), J4G brought together the "old timers" to jam with the "new breed" of Southern Rockers and a whole new generation was introduced to what Southern Rock in the 21st century will be.

After nearly 30 years as a Paramedic, Ol' Skydog finally decided to hang up his bandage shears and concentrate on designing logos, graphics and CD covers and doing consultant work for developing new bands in the Southern Rock and Red Dirt genres. Send me a message to learn more about the services Skydog Music can provide or got over to the Skydog Music web site at http://www.SkydogMusic.org

We're presently doing publicity and promotions for Frank Pilgrim of Spring Hill, Fla. Frank's a veteran of the Military and also a veteran of the Nashville Wars. He spent years fighting to be heard in Nashvegas...then went home to Florida, where according to Frank, "They know what real music is !" Skydog Music has worked with Frank since his Nashville days and we're proud that association has continued. Frank's video of his song "The American Dream" has been featured at several major music web sites and was produced by Skydog Music. Check out Frank Pilgrim's Web Site at http:www.FrankPilgrim.com also designed by Skydog.

A Message From Skydog

Hey Y'all

“So what's happened to Skydog ? First the Radio Station shut down...then he pretty much disappeared...

Is he in jail or did he die or something ???”

The ANSWER: Nope

I've been TRYING to retire...and it ain't been easy ! ! After nearly 30 years as a Paramedic, strapping an ambulance to your ass for 24 hours (or more) at a time loses a bit of it's appeal! The way our retirement system works, the more you make (money-wise) in your last few years in the biz makes
