Devin Claycomb has been musically inclined since a very young age and he picked up his first guitar at 14. Learning to play came easy for him and he jammed to many of the top-40 cover songs of the time and played tunes like Lynard Sknyard, Bob Seager and alot of Country artist of the time. Although playing the tunes that he loved to hear, he knew he could offer more by performing some of the songs that he had written through his life. Devin's songs reflect on a wide variety of life experiences that he himself has went through, been around or the things he picks up through others and their stories. His first debut was on CBS, The Early Show during a LIVE video broadcast and from there he decided to use his night life and pursue a music career,plus put some of his music out to see what kind of feedback he would recieve. That worked out awesome for him, although it was always on his mind but never pursued, he began setting up gigs where ever he could get them and trying to get his music out there. He also started competing live on stage as well as in worldwide competitions, like FAMECAST the online version of American Idle /Nashville Star. Devin was chosen from the TOP-100 artist worldwide and round after round he remained voted in the number One seat all the way to The Final-5 and won the opportunity to compete as a Top-5 finalist and flown to Austin, TX. In September of 2006 he won the contest and named the New Famecast Country Music Fenom which paid $10K as well... He has been featured at "New Country Star.com" as one of the Top-3 male vocalist in JULY/2007 also he made Northern PA's WDDH FM 97.5 (The Hound) radio's Entertainer Of The Week twice in two months. In Jan-2007 his first Music Video "Building Bridges was completed and in March-2007, he finished his “Where Do We Go From Here” music video and both have received worldwide attention. Also he recorded a successful Solo CD called (Alone & Unplugged) Devin enjoys his life and has much respect for his wife Holly and the many influences that have helped him reach his goals as a independent singer/songwriter and performer of his own style of country music. Devin's fans are just AWESOME and he has been blessed by making countless friends and fans that love his music. They have helped him reach farther and farther through the long line of artist trying to succeed. Of course these are just some of the bigger things, but there are many many more accomplishments he has made within himself that have changed him and made him a better man and performer. DEVIN CLAYCOMB: Born In Topeka, Kansas, the fourth son of a family of six. From Kansas he moved To The PA Mountains in June-1995 to help look after his father before he passed on. He decided to stay in PA when he met the neighbor girl, fell in love and married her in June of 2000. At 6'2 and 215 pounds he is a big guy and loves to hunt, fish and swap stories, ride horses, ride Harley's and just enjoy the simple way of life. He also enjoys good music whether it's country or rock, and new release night on DVD. He has served in the United States Armed Forces as a Military Police Officer from 1983 to 1989 and feels strong patriotism for his country. As a Painting and Home Improvements Contractor through the day he owns a small business in Bedford County, PA and has also expanded his company into the Lake Of The Ozarks area of Missouri. He is always looking for a laugh and a reason to carry on and always looks for the positive in everything. Devin believes that we all put our pants on the same way which in his eyes, makes us all equal. The only thing that separates us is our attitude and the way we choose to live.
